The Dictator of the UAE got Netanyahu to say he won’t annex the west back today ( he said he may do that at a latter date.) and for his trouble he gets to buy US arms to ship to Yemen. Those us arms are being used to Kill Civilians.

When the Yemeni civil war final ends we will have hundreds of thousands of widows and orphans will remember the Made in the USA weapons responsible for the carnage.

Would someone please try to explain how trump thinks it was all his doing and thus deserves recognition.. perhaps a parade.. Nobel Peace prize?

2. How hard was this deal to negotiate, really? The UAE and Israel are already western-friendly countries that were likely to normalize relations sooner or later.

3. If Donald Trump gets a Nobel Peace Prize, shouldn’t Jimmy Carter (Egypt) and Bill Clinton (Jordan) also get Nobel Peace Prizes? They’re both still alive, you know. And what about the Israeli and Emirati diplomats? Didn’t they have an even more central role in this deal?

4. Why did Obama get a Nobel Peace Prize? For not being Bush?

Nothing is signed yet. Anyway, this is more about Iran.

Whoa. Lester did one that’s both clever and appropriate. What does it all mean?

The Nobel Peace Prize lost all its cred when it was awarded to Obama the year after he was elected, for doing nothing in particular except be elected.

My reaction to the Israel UAE peace deal was “There is a conflict between them?” Now admittedly I’ve had to do some reading up in the last few days, but it still doesn’t seem like that big of a deal. More of a reluctance on UAE’s part to accept that it’s better to be neutral towards Isreal instead of difficult.
