Having read this comic, I ask you this: Has it thawed out anyplace in U. S. where you are?

There was still snow on the ground in many parts of VT in late April, but the ice on the lake is long gone.

I’ve been knee deep in my pool a few times already this year- but water temperature= average nighttime low. It’s up to low 70s now.

Noveltman- just about every family strip always uses some variation every year- the point is how well it is done with the particular characters!

Thanks for your responses. Here in north GA, it’s gets a little nippy mornings and sizzling afternoons and evenings. We had rain (as predicted) this past Thursday. Further down southeast Georgia, it’s always sunny. From my birthplace (Savannah, GA) to Woodbine, GA.

Weather in Alberta….(Canada) today it is suppose to be 63F and next Saturday is scheduled to be 69F. (17C & 21C)

In Dec. 1999 I jumped into an outside pool in Thousand Oaks Cal. and my response was just like Alix’s. This Canuck thought that all pools are heated, especially outdoor ones in December. Hubby got quite the laugh because people came out of their rooms to see who had been attacked!

Yeah, we’ve already been up over 100 in central Texas and the lake temp is in the high 70’s. But I do remember cold lakes in NH in the summer, lived there a few years.
