Lessee. For Peter it would be something about the time lock on the fridge. And for Jason, probably something like the internet being about to go down? Or the school locking its doors…

How about an alarm that cries — “Dr. Pimple Popper is here to see you now”.

The best alarm for some people is the sound of a dog barfing.

Those sound like some of the “mock EAS” videos I’ve seen on YouTube, like this one:

I switched my phone to play something from my Halloween playlist. Now I have tidbits running through my head throughout the day. “It was a graveyard smash.” “Cause this is Thriller…Thriller night”. “There coming to take me away, Ha-ha!” “This is Halloween!”

On at least one occasion the “real” nuclear attack warning went out over the Emergence Broadcast System instead of the Test Message. You’d think that would be a big wake-up call, but, actually, few people noticed.

99% off sale ends in 1 minute? Typical timing for that sale at 5 am in the morning! Kind of reminds me of the old K-Mart flashing blue light sale. Attention shoppers 50% off in the shoe department for the next 30 seconds! Look for the blue light. People already in the shoe department are not eligible. You will have to go outside and walk around the blue light for exactly 15 seconds.

I’m surprised that the zombie notification didn’t wake her up. But the fashion shopper one had a good deal.
