They’re using the real office building? I’ve seen colleges, school buildings, even the sides of subways used for productions, but I’ve never seen any of the many offices in NYC being used to shoot movies or tv shows.
I try to picture where the plot is going, but the author takes so many fun twists and turns that I miss more than I hit, by quite a margin.
I still think this strip would make a great Adult Swim addition on Cartoon Network. Boondocks did a great job, and let’s be real here, Huey is not nearly as entertaining as this crew can be. Gandpa and the itis, maybe on par, but that was one episode in a bunch. Here its a pretty constant barrage of crazy.
Well, Roy’s casted guy is pretty stupid. Finger in trigger well and pointed toward his own head. Hope someone doesn’t sneak up on him and say, “BOO!”, the guys is likely to part his hair.

Invite Gabby on the set and see if she smiles at the actor.
Or says “Daddy.”
Either way a payout to a very long setup.

Charlene needs to give the “Roy” actor a Moe Howard haircut.

At least they got the guns right, by which I mean the pistols not the muscles, those are inaccurate simply for being there. XD

Sam’s actor isn’t the only one out of character, why isn’t he at the catering table right now?

Roy’s hair will give the star a run for the money.

Every time Roy tells a like like that, his nose grows longer.

In Panel Two, even their reaction to Sedine’s words are synchronized. I was beginning to think they could give lessons to Olympic swimmers.
But then Roy started talking…

I am with you on this one Sedine! I would rather see Sam and Roy act than those two hollywood twerps.

Could this be the cop version of Brokeback Mountain?

So are Sam and Roy going to be advisors to the actors or is this movie going to have a transformation sequence of some kind?

I agree with Sedine about the casting being messed up. For one thing, the guy playing Roy doesn’t have as much nose as Roy does.
