All that Mr. & Mrs No-mask Consumer can really do is boycott. Business establishments have the right to set the preconditions of a transaction.
See that couple on TV news that wore Swastika masks and got banned from their local Walmart for a year?
Personally, if I was a store manager, I’d double the price of everything, and then offer a 50% discount for everyone who comes in wearing a face mask. Maybe then the no-maskers will put their Money where their mouth is…
We’re seeing a lot of BLM and Covid courage yard signs in our neighborhood lately. Just wait till the elections signs start going up, it’s gonna look crowded.
There a certain number of “things” every person must do in order to exist in civilized society. Every person may make the decision as to whether to do them or not – but to not do those items is to risk not being allowed to partake in society – and to have a “rule” and then not enforce it just allows the “children” to believe the “rules” are NOT for them.
Every parent KNOWS that a rule establishes but not enforced (no mask – no entry, for instance) simply demonstrates to the “child” that the “rules” don’t apply to them.
I fail to understand why stores that establish rules that then are allowed to be ignored have any complaints when, say, someone tries to walk out without paying – I guess some “rules” are MORE “rulish” than others.
Curiosity, why do you always depict older whites as the rebels against masks and quarantine rules? If you look at the news there are plenty of young whites and minorities doing the same thing. Feel free to vent your hatred commenters, you know your just itching to do so.

They don’t mind being told what to do as long as you’re not trying to save anyone’s life with your “oppressive mandates”.

Many of those things raised a lot of ire when they were instituted. And people got over them. The “no unattended children” sign I liked best was:
Unattended children will be given a puppy to take home
Runner up:
Unattended children will be given an energy drink

I’ll say it again:
Do not confuse inconvenience with oppression.

But if Trump turns around and tells them to wear a mask, suddenly they’re okay with it…

It’s not like they are asking you to wear a mask all day long….like the doctors and nurses have to when saving your life in the hospital.

I’m feeling generous, unattended children will be given an energy drink and a puppy to take home.
