Great approach. If you make it sound so ridiculous they realize it’s ridiculous.

I have five brothers, two sisters. Seldom in the car at the same time as by the time the youngest came along the oldest had a drivers license and his own car. But there were times when there were at least six siblings in the car.

We didn’t have a car.

Remember, I’m not touching you? Tormenting siblings by getting very close but but not actually touching.
