The Trump snow machine is running flat out on the mountain top. People like John Lewis never gave up. We can’t either. Vote out Trump and his cult November 3.
Here is a motto to live by: *Do what’s right, never give up, goodness dies if there is no one will stand up and say we must do better." Someplace along the road to a more perfect union we have lost sight of the “WE THE PEOPLE” that means ALL of us.
It is saddening that we are losing so many of the people who believe that we can do better.
Sorry, but I can’t help thinking of poor ol’ Sysiphus — pushing against of stone of freedom, justice, honesty, generosity, virtue etc., only to have it slip away from him and roll back into a sink of greed, fascism, racism, amorality, etc., etc.
I’ve been watching this for seventy of my eighty years. I first saw it in S.Carolina when I was ten. If I were black I would have moved to Europe long ago. A nation that could put aTrump in office – immediately after Obama, yet! – is beyond hope. Now we have storm troopers on our streets…

Above the timberline and almost to the snow zone. Is the snow zone the promised land? If so, we are getting close.
