I wonder if they let the cereal breathe before they ate it?

Whenever I read about something that’s high in antioxidants, or whatever, I add it to my cereal bowl. Now its got to the point that there’s hardly room for milk.

I bought some beer the other day. On the can were tasting notes, telling you what you should be tasting.

Same for some coffees. There are some mornings when I imagine I can actually separate the different flavors mentioned on the labels. But then again, I also imagine the taste of fresh doughnuts when I haven’t even been close to one in a decade. Taste is tricky.

Our sons rarely actually tasted anything. They just inhaled and the bowls/plates were clean. The one regret I had was that when they reached middle school, any leftovers disappeared, too.

If I want a mixture of flavors, I prefer to do the mixing myself. Then I don’t have to guess what I’m tasting.

Put enough sugar in it and kids will eat it.

Despite what so many kids believed back in the day, Froot Loops all have the same flavor. Kellogg’s finally admitted it a few years ago.
