So what are they REALLY putting in those flour bags?
—————————————————————————–
You will find out tomorrow. (grin) Although it is pretty easy to guess. In the meantime you can wonder who could have possibly gotten the delivery that was supposed to go to George Romero. I’m sure Hot Rize is going to find out! Again, pretty easy to guess. Muffin anyone?
Oh, it is still evening here on the west coast so.. Good Evening all!
George Romero LOVE it! Having lived in Pittsburgh a while back, and kinda miss it. I actually visted the cementry from the original Night of the Living Dead! OF course, I shopped at the Monroeville Mall, the mall from the orignal Dawn of the Dead! And meet Tom Savini FX artist , Blades from Dawn of the Dead, and Machete Zombie from Land of the Dead.
Told ya she was a baddie! Can’t wait for one of Gertie’s buscuits!
Actually, Mike & Joe very cleverly conveyed it in their depiction of her eyes a week or so ago. Excellent artwork. The “L” word couldn’t communicate by spelling it out; these guys do it right!
Where’s the new baby boy….?
We’ll all see that very soon, he’ll be in plenty of trouble!
Oh well, there’s plenty more where he came from!
It’s called pacing….jump on quickly, I’m already bored.
The Brand New character, Ms. Biscuits looks exactly like “PAULA DEEN”, the First Lady of Southern Cooking famous for her southern style biscuits and chicken!
I have read this page for a few years but rarely comment but I just want to add my compliments to Joe, Mike, and the team for some excellent storytelling.
Whoever thinks this plot is taking too long to develop (yesterday’s comments) has been eating Flaky
Biscuits.
The last writer of Dick Tracy took FOREVER to finish a plot line by repeating a scenerio over a week’s time or more. This current writer is going too FAST to really develop any characters or plots. There needs to be a happy medium. He’s jumping all over the place!
I only have one complaint, it has nothing to do with DT, Mike, or Joe. I just want an Avatar. But Mike, if you know anyone from gocomics you could pass it on. They never return my emails, ever.
dwkiser28603 I heard you can get anything you want at Alice’s Resturant, is that true? For the record, I don’t want a pickle, I just wanna ride my motorcycle….
From time to time a question would be asked concerning why we continued to read DT if it was so awful? The humor of the regular commenters was a big draw, but a lot of us have loved DT since we were kids, and we never lost hope that someday, somehow, someone would save one of our favorite strips. And you two have done so. A big thanks to both of you!
While I assume it’s early, let me be the first to say Happy Birthday, margueritem! From a fellow person with a question mark for a face. Does that make us questionable people? God I need an avatar…
Mike I too am a big Romero fan. You have no idea how hard it was to go down the escalutor at the JCpenneys in the Monroeville Mall, without using it for a sliding board.

The coiled telephone cord between the two panels is a nice touch.

Love the new villain, named after george Romero of horror movie fame. Vista Bill has a theory about this. I hope he’ll share it!

Oh, shucks. I was WAY wrong. But the plot seems clear at least for a few days ahead.

Where do I send the Oveltine seals to get my very own official Pig on Wheels?
JanLC about 13 years ago
punchydugan: I got mine from ovaltine jars. Now all I have to do is figure out where to send them.

New villain is wearing Blu-Blockers. How tough is that?

Will someone please link me to the legendary Pig On Wheels? Thanks.

I only have one complaint with the current run, and it’s minor:
We don’t see enuff Dick Tracy.
Since restarting on 3/14/11, he has appeared less than Lizz and Sam…’cause I counted !

Yes, please Mike, if you have any influence, we want our avatars back! The problem should have beeen fixed ages ago. It’s not a big priority, I see.
MikeCurtis Premium Member about 13 years ago
Actually I could use an avatar also.
I do have a question.
What is the deal with the pig on wheels?
And the George Romero reference-I’m a big fan of zombie movies, especially the original DAWN and DAY OF THE DEAD.
Saucy1121 Premium Member about 13 years ago
I think it was SUPPOSED to be a cannon (the kind you fire a clown from), but it did look like a pig on wheels.

Behold, for nostalgia’s sake, the first appearance of the Pig On Wheels:

@dwkiser28603 - Alice’s (coincidentally AliceB. Toklas) brownies certainly never used the vile ingredients you mention
