Shouldn’t that read “Rich, paranoid suburbanites overreact to a peaceful protest”?
…But Daniel Shular, a freelance photojournalist who was at the protest, said he didn’t see anyone breaking into the neighborhood and instead recalled seeing protesters simply strolling through an open gate.
“I kind of turned around to take some pictures of people coming through the gate, then I turned back around and by then he had his long gun in his hand,” Shular told NBC News. “And the woman came out with a pistol and started pointing it with her finger on the trigger at everybody.”
“It was just angry sort of … people asking, ‘Why do you have a gun? It’s a peaceful protest!’” Shular said, adding that he didn’t see people yelling at the couple “until they started brandishing guns, then it got heated.”
Running to the defense of a couple of paranoid douchebags, running out of their mansion (that they bought by chasing ambulances and bilking their clients), while disobeying every guideline in the NRA safety manual—peak Lester, that’s all I gotta say.
If that’s his attitude about how good Americans are supposed to “protect their property”—well, be sure not to let your kids bounce their basketballs into his yard, I guess.
I saw the video. People walking by the house of a pair of paranoid people who pulled guns on unarmed pedestrians and threatened them. But in Lester’s skewed world…
Those protesters were just marching past, and would have probably paid no attention to their home, but the owners just had to draw attention and create a controversy for themselves…
I’m just glad Karen didn’t shoot at anyone, Chad used much more discipline. Sure makes me question 10 rd mag limits in Cali. A belt fed M-240 or a flame thrower would have made me feel a wee bit better. Rich liberals facing a moment of truth, I’m so glad it didn’t escalate beyond stupid.

They weren’t “protecting their home”, but then Truth has never mattered to Mikey when he is on a rant.

Those ‘pepole’ are the lowest of the low. Supporting them makes Lester every bit as bad.

For armed protection to be necessary there needs to be a threat.
Anyone that thinks that being confronted is a threat sufficient to require the use of firearms is a coward.

PROTESTOR: If you continue to point those loaded guns at me, I’ll call an attorney.
HOME OWNERS: You’re already talking to two.

I sure hope Mike supports me when I point my semi at the next jackass who endangers my life and health by coming near me without a mask on.

They broke down their gate and seemed ready to attack, because that is what they do.
