    That’s not a new problem for many. Loud verbal blithering was endemic way before CV-19 added another excuse for perpetual outgassing.

    My TV remote has the “Political Commercial Enhancer Button” it’s labeled MUTE. It also has a button to tune to my favorite network: OFF.

    The mute button on Zoom only mutes your voice. Unless you are the one hosting the meeting, of course.

    The only hard part about wearing a mask is that I’m functionally deaf and rely on an amount of lip reading to get by. Given the tone of some conversations, its ok.
