“Protest poop” was the term in our house. Of course, there’s also the plain and simple fact that dachshunds know right from wrong, but are willing to accept any consequences they can’t charm their way out of if wrong is more convenient.
Sophie is the only Lab I know who doesn’t like a bath. I’d say bath time to Alex and he was upstairs in the bedroom, outside the shower door to get inside and get a bath. If I didn’t get there fast enough he’d bark his head off till I was there. I’d put on my bathing suit and in the shower we went (nice oversized one) and he got his bath. He loved it.
Same with our second Lab and our last doggy, Buddy Max, he loved going outside on the patio and getting his bath. Winter he went into the bathtub. However I had to be in there with him or he got out.
