Reminds me of those computer games that had a “Here comes the Boss” button that would pull up a spreadsheet so the boss will thing that you’re working.
I did something similar for my work Zoom meetings, I moved my office workbench behind me. Arrayed it with tools, my dedicated coding PC, soldering iron, stereo microscope, 3D printer running, and a few electronic projects operating along with a bunch of old traffic control equipment wired up to provide an out of focus intriguing wall of “Blinking lights” and dials. Every day I’d move something around, add tools take away something else. I get a kick out of watching my co-workers squinting and staring around me when it is my time to speak. I’ve noticed after a few weeks of that No-one cuts me off, or interrupts, and my ideas are given about as much weight as our unit directors. My younger co-workers seem in awe, even my Director treats me differently, more like a friend. it’s really going to take some getting used to but I love it!
This was a thing in old movies. To show someone was at scientist, they always had a chemistry set going in the background. It didn’t matter what kind of scientist they were, they perpetually had red, yellow and green liquids boiling in a collection of beakers, pipettes, droppers and test tubes.
