Jeez, even I never tried this one!

There’s nothing more annoying than a dad with a sense of humour.

I would not call that a sense of humor. Seems mean spirited.

Wow, Dad’s kind of a DB. . .

This does seem pretty low. Pop is not thinking about his advanced aged future. And he got up himself at O-dark-thirty just to do this?

This is how you end up in the nursing home on the wrong side of town.

I don’t care… That’s phunny! I only did it on weekends.

I suspect this actually happened to someone who now inks a comic strip…..

Can’t condone hitting the father but I on a different level I have to confess that I did this exact same thing to my brother once!

I overdid the AP classes in high school, leading to some bouts of exhaustion. I fell asleep one day after school, and my mother woke me up. I got ready for school, went up for breakfast, and she came in wondering what I was doing eating a stack of microwave pancakes for supper.

Nasty prank. Dad better beware!

This, along with Wallace are my favorite new (to me) comics because they’re real and over the top.

This was the last April Fool’s joke my dad ever managed to pull on me (circa third grade).

I have only one question.

Backpack weights by that point were already up to about 75% of what they hit at their peak— How on earth is Miles able to wing it at his father at all, and in particular how can he do it without doing real damage to his dad’s head and neck?

This is funny, but …. I have to say it’s also kinda mean. But I totally get why a dad would do this to a prankster kid!

I would not have even been able to do that to my father, and live to tell about it

Panel four seems odd. He was already dressed at the breakfast table but in four Miles is pulling his pants on.

I would hate that

That’s a thing that’s kind of mean but also funny

Waking up mid-night just to mess with your son … totally worth it.

Also why on Earth would you brush your teeth before eating?
