To be perfectly honest, I don’t trust Trump to willingly leave the white house if he loses the election. I wouldn’t put it past him to flee to Russia and claim to be the "president in exile. Then his followers will try to start a revolution and bring him back. It wouldn’t work, but he would be happy with the violence and damage it would create.
He will rig the elections again. if he fails he’ll make a big fuss about having bean cheated but will leave on the 20th of Jan. He’ll then go around the country holding rallies and collecting money for “the revolution to restore the Republic”. There won’t be any revolution of course , but he’ll die a very rich man.
Seeing the daily Bok cartoons is like listening to an old 78 record played on a Victrola that has a “crack” in it . . . . makes the same ‘click’ sound with every turn. Some people don’t hear the click any longer after listening to it for years. They’ll keep playing the old tune over and over until the record finally breaks in half like a country divided. My dad said his grandfather’s favorite recording was “Uncle Josh At The Circus” by Cal Stewart. It finally broke in half, but the old man could recite it before he died in 1936 at the age of 92. Stewart’s first recordings were on the old cylinder records and he met Mark Twain who influenced his comedy. This old recording and other “Uncle Josh and Aunt Nancy” recordings can be found on YouTube. “When the Circus comes to town expect a clown” still rings true after all these years. Just the clown has changed. Hopefully you won’t die laughing . . . wear your mask.
