Why’re they sitting outside in the rain?

He’s the Platonic Ideal of a middle-aged husband.

Worse, it’s like talking to a shadow on a cave wall.

A “Classic’s Illustrated” adaptation of “The Republic” is conceivable, whereas one of Aristotle’s “The Politics” would just be a bearded guy at a lectern talking for several hours.
