An important thought, that the extreme right work hard at ignoring. it DOES NOT matter what, if any, crimes George Floyd MAY have committed, the police and other law enforcement personnel must still follow the law themselves.
Floyd may have passed a fake $20 (it’s not clear as far as I can tell, but I’ve only spent a few minutes looking). If he’d been me, the clerk would have said something like: This is counterfeit, I can’t accept it… and would probably have called a manager who would want to sequester it and tell law enforcement. I would have been given a chance to pay with a real $20. But he was in a “black neighborhood” and he was a black person, so things escalated in a much more deadly direction. That $20 isn’t Floyd’s value, that’s the price of a bad cop’s (im)morals.
Indeed. I am taking a knee as I write this apologia. Thousands of “young black men” have been shot by … other blacks this year. 10 blacks (1 woman) have been shot dead by cops. Eighty-plus cops have died on the job. Now, if you want to discuss the no-hope schools you liberals and your unions force black kids to attend, we can have that horror story.
How about a cartoon of the 75 year old man pushed down and was bleeding from the ear? Did you know that all 57 involved police have since QUIT? Without the video we would be told he stumbled . . . . right Ramirez?
Who knew that passing a bad $20 bill, intentionally or not, carried a death sentence – to be carried out by a judge, jury, and executioner of cops on the street?
“Hopefully, George is looking down right now and saying, ‘this is a great thing that’s happening for our country.’ This is a great day for him, for everybody, in terms of equality.”
It is very clear that defiying legal authority is dangerous and can be fatal. That should not be and does not have to be the way we live. I was taught to always obeying authority in the first case will allow you to argue your case on the next day. I believe that George Floyd & many of the others that have died while being confronted by legal authority would be alive today had they been taught like I was by my parents, teachers, extended family & friends.
Actually that man – who towered over the cops by the way, was pushed. But what was he doing advancing towards the cops in the first place? You see cops in riot gear in a formation advancing to clear an area – Would you advance and reach out to grab the short cop? I would not. I would back away.

Lets be clear, this was “the price of a Black man’s life”. White mass murderers were treated better when being detained/arrested.
