Art style change got me: I was thinking, “I don’t recognize the girl Heart is talking to.” (Note to nonbinary people and queer advocates: it isn’t that I’d be upset if Dean were androgynous or whatever, it’s that he was clearly cis and straight as written and drawn by Tatulli, and is apparently still written that way.)
