For blacks, this is just another (albeit perhaps more egregious) example of the unending racism that’s been inherent in this country since the first slaves were brought from Africa as property to be bought, sold, or worse by “superior” whites. About the only difference this time (at least so far) is that cell-phone video of the killing has let the nation see clearly what actually happened. Will it make any difference in the outcome? I sincerely hope it will, but fear it won’t.
He’s under arrest and charged with homicide in the 3rd degree. But will he be convicted? America’s record in this regard is depressingly dismal, which has led me for the past decade to advocate for truth in advertising: All police badges should be issued with numbers beginning with “00”, signifying an unrestricted license to kill.

Why didn’t the orange moron call all the white idiots “THUGS” who were carrying guns (some with military grade weaponry) and confronting police in a violent manner?
Arrest for third degree murder? That was the least they could do, next to “unlawful detaining”. They will postpone any trial until people forget the details, and give the cop probation.

This brutality that gets people killed….this is the reason players were “taking a knee” to protest… this targeted brutality….
Peaceful protests didn’t get results. Now we will see if rioting protests will stop the police brutality that fatally targets specific minorities.
With the drumpth fanning the flames, we’ll be lucky if we can get past these latest incidents without the country devolving into a civil war.
