Here in the hot and humid Southland, drinking wine or other alcohol is, due to the heat, only possible for the first few hours of daylight. I keep telling Mrs. Earl the Disgruntled Crokydile Wife, that I’m not a drunk, I’m just adjusting to the weather.

Smoky with a strong presence of 2 stroke gasoline from the roto-tiller used to crush the grapes.

I live in “Wine Country”….
I’m sadly used to this.
I can understand tannic, and earthy… and oaky (tasting of the aging barrels… not unsophisticated, like “Okie”).
but having heard wine described as foxy, buttery, leesy, cardboardy…
having flavors of all different kinds of wood, including “cigar box notes”…
and various unlikely fruits and vegetables….
NONE of this would surprise me.

I went to click on this comic and an ad popped up. I clicked on the ad. Had to x-out the ad and try again.
