No license to practice as a counselor. He won’t get paid by insurance. Might make it a while so long as he doesn’t try prescribing drugs.

Brilliant, as usual. Smart, funny, thought provoking.

For a movie with a similar theme, see Woody Allen’s Zelig, a fantasy about a human “chameleon” who can only be comfortable around other people if he becomes like them. If he finds himself at a ladies bridge club, he physically morphs into just one more lady playing cards. He’ll be a white woman, then a black man, then a Hasidic Jew depending on who he’s talking to. Some of his transformations are cringe-inducing… as when the Jewish Mr. Zelig encounters a group of Nazis and seems to become one.

It’s presented as a faux documentary with simulated news coverage and a series of commentaries by real life psychologists, historians, social critics all playing themselves. Unique, like no other movie I’ve ever seen

The apprenticeship system isn’t altogether bad.
