Bunch a crazy people wearing MAGA hats are in the MINORITY in USA. They just make lots of noise, and get lots of what they want, just like the “performance artist in chief” — attention. Put them under a rock in your brain, and keep them there until November, 2020
All these silly MAGA caps need is propellers on top, like the Beanie Copters popularized in the “Beanie and Cecil” cartoon show of the early 1960s. It was an imaginative and swingin’ show. It could be brought back today and drawn with present political characters. “Dishonest Don” would be appropriate. So would “Senator Huffenpuff.” Parodies could apply to all people in the political spectrum.
In fact, the original cast of weird cartoon parodies could be applied to present political and entertainment celebrities. With the addition of even more characters, it could be funny and true without being so nasty as some present satiric cartoons are. Oh, where are contemporary counterparts to Bob Clampett and his talented crew?
Those protests look just like trump rallies. That is so repugnant to me that I will sometimes just dismiss it all as stupidity. However, there are many arguments for opening (at least gradually). Our hospital has closed most of its clinics, and there are plenty of people with serious need of cancer follow-ups, gallbladder surgery, hip transplants, etc. There are a lot of ways businesses could open carefully with adaptations to protect staff and customers, etc. With all the political craziness, it is much harder to have intelligent dialog about opening.
Just don’t ask them to wear masks, you might get shot! https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/05/04/security-guards-death-might-have-been-because-he-wouldnt-let-woman-store-without-mask/

The True Believers (by Eric Hoffer), like their cult leader, desperately need his rallies in order to vent their white bitterness and anger.

Right wing disease makes them dumber ever day.
They are going to be so sorry when the libs take over.
We’re gonna force them to have health care and education,
they hate that stuff.
