Age is just a number.

Look at her body language. OK.

Panel 1 : Martha is saying, “You’ve got a spot on your shirt. Ha! Ha!”

Panel 2: Martha is saying “I think I split my pants. Don’t look.”

Elly doesn’t seem to like anything about Martha. Yesterday it was the outfit and today it seems like Elly does not like girls who flirt with her son. I am not sure that there are many girls who don’t fall into one of those two categories. What’s worse is that Elly claims she didn’t do that. John knows better and walks away.

Oh, Elly. That’s a pretty big lie. We have seen the flashback comic strips where you happened to meet John when you went to the medical school library at the University of Toronto to study even though you were an English major.

Yeah. All of us had Marthas in our school years who we said we hated but wished to be them. Beautiful. Confident. Popular. Gets all the guys. Got they wanted on their looks. Etc.

Is she a little bit jealous? ;D

And because of this one moment, Michael will spend a month on the farm. Because he was flirting.

LOL! Nice punchline!

But El, don’t forget the most important result… You got the guy!

I bet you did act like that, maybe didn’t dress that way but most definitely flirted, you just don’t remember. lol

Things change. Flirting has come a long way. Hasn’t it?

A group of boys are lined up on one wall of a dance hall, and an equal number of girls are lined up on the opposite wall. Both groups are instructed to advance toward each other by one quarter the distance separating them every ten seconds. When do they meet at the center of the dance hall? A mathematician says they will never actually meet because the series is infinite. A physicist says they will meet when time equals infinity. An engineer says that within one minute they will be close enough for all practical purposes.

I remember this from the original run. The last panel is one of my favorites.

If you look up the term “ass-backwards” in the dictionary, you’ll see the 4th panel of today’s strip.

I still weigh the same as I did 15 years ago.. mind, it’s shifted a bit…

Told you yesterday, this is her “come hither” look! She knows what she’s doing.

Pffft. I’m closer to Ellie’s age and I remember it. Heck, I remember doing it.

Let those lovebirds flirt. Aren’t they a couple?

If I were John I would have told her that she was so beautiful she didn’t have to flirt.

Elly is really unpleasant and a prude. I feel sorry for any man married to a woman like that.
