She’s thinking about how hilarious your big butt is.

The smile of a newborn usually means she has just created something special in her diaper.

It’s probably gas.

I still remember our son (now 26) smiling for the first time. It was a truly magic moment!

It’s always good to make connection with a baby. :)

Lived in a rundown area which had “cabins”. 4 of us lived in one and another had a woman with a baby. My friend was dating her and I got roped into babysitting. I entertained myself by playing with the kid. Then his grandmother showed up and I got a LOOK! Who the heck are you? Last time I had to babysit! Fine with me.

“Drool Queen”. When my younger daughter started teething, she drooled like a St. Bernard, so we called her “Drooly Scrumptious.” She’s 15 now & I love to kid her about that.

Hmm. The trade off: the high maintenance involved, versus the reward of a smile. My hat’s off to the parents out there.

So will we seen the end of “Ape” and “Lizardbreath”, or must we keep up his name of “Avacado Head”?
