Jack’s growing up so fast!

This strip and the next two were originally posted as two three-row pages. I figure they were rearranged for the published version just to fit the book format, but I think the page breaks work better this way, too.

Quick, Jack and Erin! Jump into the sewer!

Wow! The special companion actually is the Night Hero, but the Night Hero is not the Night Creeper. It’s all so confusing. Poor Jack.

Jack is a heroe, but I’m afraid that creature will take that as an invitation. Also, Erin calm and reasonably talking with someone that then seems ready to hit you with something dangerous is really admirable

Jack! Grab Erin and run fast! Let the Night Hero swing at the Night Creeper.

The Night Creeper is not much of a conversationalist . . .

“Wonk” is “know” spelled backwards. Is that significant to this strip?

You know things have taken a bad turn when even Erin’s face shows fear.

I wonder what TMBC stands for? Tackleford Municipal Bowel Contingency?

He does look more creepy than hero-y. Are we about to get another layer, or will he run off and leave mysteriously.

Jack is being extraordinarily brave.

Girl, Erin sure don’t look like the Queen of Heck right now.

Now we know the Night-Creeper but as to who or how to stop him is another matter.
