I know how Ellen feels. I once entered a distance challenge organized by a local swim club and between wearing dark goggles and using my usual ear plugs, I ended up missing the signal from the deck volunteers swimming 200 metres more than my chosen distance.
I have to say, head above the water swimming must lead to an awfully stiff neck the next day.
i wish there was a way to know if a comic was actually knew or a reprint. i’m almost positive that bad machinery has ended and is now just reprinting old stuff — usually there’s a copyright date on the strip so you can tell
