This is great — the first time around, I had no idea of the back story of any of these characters. I see Len has moved up in the world from his days overseeing the motley staff of City Limits.
Amy’s maiden name is Chilton (right?), but her father’s name is Pickering. Did her Mom divorce Mr. Chilton and then remarried, or just what is the backstory here?

I forgot—or more likely didn’t appreciate the significance of—that Amy was at this shindig.

(And Amy is looking GOOD here! Youth will do it for you every time. Sigh, I remember when I could run 5 miles in 30 minutes – sigh.)
