Maybe it’s time to pick a new charity.

Marcie is my favourite Peanuts character. I would be interested to find out who other readers’ favourite characters are.

Kind of an overaggressive way of saying “No”, isn’t it?

In the greater scheme of things Marcy, its best to learn about rejection at an early age.

It’s a tough product, Marcie. The market is saturated.

I never slam the door on anyone or yell at them on the phone. I just politely say “No thanks” and either close the door or hang up. I don’t care if they are still talking after that.

Don’t worry, Marcie. I have a feeling your future does not lie in door-to-door sales…

Well, we now know that at least Marcie knows the word “Ma’am” and doesn’t call everyone “Sir”… ☺

Many years ago, my nephew when he was three said Woodstock was his favorite bird. He’s a teenager now, so I don’t know if that is still the case. As for the charity game, they picked stomachaches. The tickets probably cost more than over the counter medicine for the condition. Now if their plan to relieve stomachaches were to raise funds to send Lucy to a boarding school on the other side of the state . . .

Difficult thing to consider; each has his/her own ‘cuteness’, own ways which touch my heart and with which I can resonate with them one and all.
