One thing can be said for Charlie’s team: they’re very loyal. I played on a softball team who had a very bad pitcher, but had he been as bad as Charlie, we’d have walked, too; to our cars and away. And that was a church league team where forgiveness is supposed to be a part of the game. Even our pitcher never walked 35 batters in a row and thus gave the other team some 31 runs (I think that’s right). I think Charlie owes his team an after game pizza.
