Lisa, like Trump, seems much more worried about the “economy” than about people’s health. Apparently, the NSC has had, for some time, a guide book on planning for disasters of many kinds, which the White House ignored.
Fear not, Lisa. Your chosen one will lift all quarantines and social distancing and sacrifice as many American lives as necessary for the sake of the Almighty Economy!
If there was no inequity in the American economy, and everyone benefitted proportionally to the amount of effort they put into increasing productivity, there would probably be more concern than there currently is now … where only the owners prosper from that productivity.
If you ignore the warnings, not unlike ignoring stop signs or red lights, the outcomes are usually not good. The sad part is that it’s devastation is visited on the persons trying heed the warnings. A hospital should have been the building in this cartoon.
Republicans don’t want the government to help you.
Bannon Admits Trump’s Cabinet Nominees Were Selected To Destroy Their Agencies.
Atop Trump’s agenda, Bannon said, was the “deconstruction of the administrative state” — meaning a system of taxes, regulations and trade pacts that the president and his advisers believe stymie economic growth and infringe upon one’s sovereignty.
“If you look at these Cabinet nominees, they were selected for a reason, and that is deconstruction,” Bannon said. He posited that Trump’s announcement withdrawing from the Trans-Pacific Partnership was “one of the most pivotal moments in modern American history.”
After the compassionate words of some Republicans (and their leader) concerning grandparents and old people, I woke up this morning with the following on my mind:John DonneIf a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend’s or of thine own were: any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bells tolls; it tolls for thee."
OMFG, Seriously, let’s be clear here, this is what the Republican party have come to: ‘let’s genocide the elderly’ to save the wealthy? Is this the government of the United States or North Korea? If this was any previous Administration would we not be outraged, immediately send troops & remove this (I don’t’ have the words to describe this POS).Tell you what, #YOUFIRST! To every trump supporter that is old enough to be a grandparent (& lets face it in states that are trump’s base that age could be what 32?), the diehard #MAGAts, & willing to show us Liberals just what you are made of, your resolve, your diehard support & willing to die for your beloved orange messiah, I think you should all show us the way!But you should all do it fast, show us up. You should all gather in your local town square, save yourself a lot of suffering, make a huge batch of Kool-Aid with cyanide & drink it. THAT WILL SHOW US!! We will properly bury you ALL as martyrs, we will properly mourn you all as martyrs, We will even do a 45 gun salute!! But you got to show us the way!! YOU FIRST! Then we will follow! #magaShowUsTheWay #magaMartyrs
