When I was that age I was forced to wash dishes all week, or the car once (trading off with sibs was allowed). And be polite when i picked up the phone. And get no less than a B in every class. And treat my sisters as ladies (though my father came through and modified the rule so if they weren’t acting like ladies I could treat them as guys). And chew with my mouth closed…
Back in my day, we used to breathe natural air and not artificial fresheners while confined to an ozone bubble surrounding an entire city due to pollution.
I imagine by that time, due to climate change, there will be little or no snow. So the kid won’t relate to the old-timer’s tale of having to walk through it uphill both ways from home to school and back. And why walk to a school building, when all teaching is on-line? And what was “television”? Was it sort of like the Holodeck VR now?

By 2070 Global Warming will have killed off all of “Gen-C” and many other generations too. Thanks “OK, Boomers”.

Back in the groovy 60’s, our new town library had a white ball chair like that, lined with orange cushioning. It was quite quiet inside.

Well if there’s anyone left in 2070…. that report that humans have a good shot at going extinct by the end of the century is still out there….

Try binge reading some classic literature instead.
