Geez, I’ve never seen Snoopy so angry, where is his image of Joe Cool?

That’s okay. Technically, that wasn’t his mailbox.

I wonder if Margaret Mitchell ever beat up her mailbox?

A variation on ’don’t shoot the messenger’?

Snoopy attended the Billy Martin school of reaction?

But how will Snoopy get his next Bunny Wonnie story, if there is no mail box?

Well, this time, he didn’t go into rejection slip shock.

Snoopy, only deranged teenagers go around destroying mail boxes. You better watch that you don’t get a visit from the local police.

Mailboxes are considered federal property, and federal law (Title 18, United States Code, Section 1705), makes it a crime to vandalize them (or to injure, deface or destroy any mail deposited in them). Violators can be fined up to $250,000, or imprisoned for up to three years, for each act of vandalism.

That’s not the mailbox’s fault, Snoopy!

You know, it would be nice if you could know ahead of time what their “needs” are.

I’m pretty sire that JK Rowlings manuscript was turned down at least 12 times.

Just take it out on the letter.

Snoopy should take it out on his arch nemesis, The Editors !!!

For all the success Schultz had with his cartoons, he always wanted to be a novelist but just didn’t have the right mental skill set for that kind of creative work.

Back in the day when the publishers were only available via snail mail and queries, I’d pick up my rejection at the family post office box, have a private hissy fit, then go to the gym. By the end of the workout, I’d have gained some perspective and a plan to move forward with the book. Publishing is not a life for sissies and drama queens, and it’s a marathon slog in mud, pouring rain, and emotional animal attacks.

Seems snoopy has been playing a lot of street fighter lately
