Canadians anxious to escape Trump’s Florida.

I have a theory that New York City cabs are equipped with a device called the Horn-o-Matic. It honks the horn as soon as it detects a green light. Unfortunately, in New York City, green light obeys special laws of relativity causing it to arrive at the car behind you before it reaches you.

It is recommended that you de-install your Horn-o-Matic if you take your car to North Carolina. Especially if you find your car behind a pickup truck with a gun rack, NRA sticker and a bumper sticker that reads, “If you can read this; you are in small arms range.”

Be especially wary if you can see that the driver is wearing his NASCAR ball cap with the bill in the back.

I thought Canadians were more polite than that.

Honking is more tolerable than that other thing they do – all over the driveway, sidewalk, parking lot, playground…

Somehow puts me in mind of the old canard (well, that means “duck”, but bear with me) about the Italian rules of the road: “Green light means go fast. Yellow light means go faster. Red light mean honk horn”.
