But he has a “natural ability” to understand science that amazes the doctors and researchers at the CDC. /s

The saying, “An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure” is true in this case… better to test as many as possible to define and slow down or prevent passing on the virus to keep from overwhelming medical services. But, for once we need to put money in the hands of those who are out of work or who do not have paid sick time to prevent an economic calamity as bad as the illness. No, a tax cut won’t get that job done. And no, the oil companies and banks are not the ones who need money. Just send checks to families who will spend it on food and rent and other daily needs, and prevent them from suffering financial disaster. Just once let’s take care of workers and families.

The stunning ignorance displayed above by NonComposMentis and error 404 will only serve to hamper the attempts to contain this infection. Remember, taking the steps advised by the experts will help mitigate the spread, and help not only you, but every single person you come in contact with. Enjoy your Covid-19, dingbats! And better hope you don’t pass it on to a loved one who is in a high risk group. I hope we don’t have to end up saying, “Told you so!”

    From The Messiah:

No, I think the U.S. has done a very good job on testing. We had to change things that were done, that were nobody’s fault. Perhaps they wanted to do something a different way, but it was a much slower process from a previous administration. And we did change them. We made the changes. But the testing has gone very well. And when people need a test, they can get a test. When the professionals need a test, when they need tests for people, they can get the test. It’s gone really well.

    .

Evidently, an ounce of prevarication is better than a million pounds of cure.

    Or testing.

tRump does not need any help making himself look bad. He’s a natural at doing that for himself.

As if they didn’t have enough problems, it’s hitting the refugee camps. So go stock up on toilet paper and Perrier and weep for yourself.

The cause of the panic is not the facts. The cause is that people no longer believe that the government can be trusted to give us the facts- on this issue or any other. We are told what it is most beneficial for the administration that we believe. And, we are pretty sure that if a few million of us die to keep Trump in office that he will consider that a good deal. The virus may not be adequate cause for panic, but that fact is.
