There are better ice creams. Graeter’s makes B&J’s and Häagen-Dazs taste like the stuff you used to get in a little cup with a paper lid and a tiny wooden spoon. It’s like a ribeye when everybody else is eatin’ a two day old drive thru burger and it’s cold.
I became a B & J shareholder when they first went public, and remained one for many years. Their shareholder meetings were hilarious. They were held outdoors in VT. Both Ben and Jerry wore t-shirts and shorts, and Ben opened the meetings doing the required legalese in Gregorian chant, etc. It was all about what they were doing that was socially responsible. When the time came for shareholder comments, someone would invariably complain about not getting dividends, and then everyone would boo them, and say being part of this organization was dividend enough in itself. We’d of course get free ice cream, and often caught the waft of (ahem) cinnamon/nutmeg floating in the air. Then they sadly went corporate. Very disappointing.

Mine too, but I just got up to 204 lbs, and that won’t work. It’s a lot harder to get back into shape than it is to stay in shape.

A quick Google image search of “waiting for the perfect man” will show you the results of doing so.

B&Js is too expensive. I’ll stick with Kroger.
