Bleeb is a little sneaky today. Peaking into the room between the chair and the lamp.

Bringing back the old drive in theaters would be very welcome in times like these.

I have a DVD that replicates the drive in experience, complete with two features (two old SF movies) and old drive in commercials.

Where can I get a couch like that

His “car” needs a bench seat, though. What good is being at a drive-in with your sweetheart in a car with bucket seats?

Dont know if I ever saw a whole movie at a drive-in after I was old enough to drive

Don’t know if it’s still there, but there was an eatery at Disney World with the drive-in movie theme, the booths were somewhat loose replicas of cars, facing towards a large screen.

Perhaps a crossed stereotype: redneck with a government job, working from home

They really need a bigger TV for that…

Well why not. I mean if he likes it and gets that much pleasure out of it and it doesn’t hurt anyone else, let him be. He has two seats so there is obviously enough room for the wife to join him for a snuggle.

I could not find our little guy for a while, he found a good hiding place.

This one actually makes perfect sense. That’s his man cave.

Talk about the “good old days”! But, I’ll take my recliner now.

Does it convert into a bed too?

Good idea. Drinking and not driving.

Good idea as long as his wife agrees to keep the concession stand open.

“Hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, ice cream, coffee and snacks, and many other pleasing treats. Our foods are fresh and tasty, our drinks are satisfying and refreshing. They’re so good. Visit our snack bar now, the show starts in one minute.” I think that’s what I remember hearing, the sounds were more muffled in the trunk.

That’s not a drive-in car, it doesn’t have a back seat.

Think how many kids won’t know what a “drive-in” acually was like. Popping the paper shopping bags full of popcorn. Going there in our pajamas. $5 a darload night. Hanging the speakers from both sides of the posts to get stereo. Lowering the seats in the back of the station wagon so we could lay down, hearing the old refrains of “Two minutes to go down to the snackbar for a treat. The show’s about to begin!”, and never staying awake to the end of the first movie.

I hope he isn’t planning on going anywhere after the movie since his is obviously drinking…
