I wonder if the Democrats are regretting letting Bernie ride on the coat tails of the Democratic Party. As the “independent” he is Bernie would have been nothing more than an angry voice.. now.. with the support of the party.. he is their spoiler. Well played.

Bernie should never have run in the first place, contenting himself with being an elder statesman. Wait, strike that: Bernie is incapable of being statesmanlike! (Of course, Trump is incapable of honesty and patriotism…….)

I hope that the supporters of each contestant are well separated. It could get ugly.

Bernie is not my choice. If it’s Bernie, vote for him. I will.

We cannot tolerate the damage another Trump term will do to our nation, and the world.

As Americans, we should be frightened — deeply afraid for the future of the nation. When good men and women can’t speak the truth, when facts are inconvenient, when integrity and character no longer matter, when presidential ego and self-preservation are more important than national security — then there is nothing left to stop the triumph of evil.

Trump is already receiving help in the 2020 presidential campaign from Putin as he did in 2016; our intelligence services apprised Congress just last week that Bernie was receiving Putin’s help, as well,. So , if those two be the future nominees , Putin will have helped pick and will be owed big time for his efforts by the next President of the U.S. of A.

It’s too early. Four small states are no indicator of the final results – after all, Bill Clinton lost those states, too.

Having said that, if Bernie wins the nomination, I will unquestionably vote for him over #45.

I can’t believe so many people are buying this Russian propaganda for a 2nd time. Putin claimed to be helping Bernie so they’d nerf his campaign momentum because that means Bloomberg getting the nomination. Putin loves oligarchs and fully believes Bloomberg will be one. Plus, he knows that’ll finish off America as a Democracy because the billionaires will know that they get to pick who runs the country every 8 years. No elections necessary. Does anyone really see Bernie and Putin getting along at all? Hell no.

Putin has apparently put some energy into promoting Sanders. I’m not a big conspiracy-theorist, but from where I’m sitting, that looks exactly like a plan to widen the split the Democrats between those who want to win at any cost to platform and those who want a liberal platform at any cost. In other words, I think that the appearance  of supporting Sanders is what Putin was after… while actually  supporting his current puppet.

Vladimir Putin has embarked on a sweeping reshuffle of Russia’s leadership, accepting the resignation of Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev and proposing constitutional amendments that would enable him to hold onto power even after leaving the presidency in 2024.In a surprise move, Russia’s government said it would resign in full just hours after Putin announced plans for a national referendum that would shift power away from a successor to the presidency.Putin’s shakeup sent shock waves through Russia’s political elites, who were left pondering what his intentions were and speculating about future cabinet appointments. The president is laying the groundwork as he prepares for a transition in 2024 that analysts say will likely see him abandon the presidency but remain Russia’s dominant politician in a beefed-up role as Russia’s prime minister or in the government’s State Council instead. The 67-year-old has in effect ruled Russia since 2000, making him the longest-serving leader since Stalin, and what he plans to do in 2024 remains the most important political question in the country. In a televised speech before senior officials, Putin suggested amending Russia’s constitution to limit a future president to two terms in office – he has served four – tightening residency requirements for presidential candidates, and letting parliament choose candidates for prime minister and the cabinet, in effect weakening the presidency.

    — The first time they met was in Germany. President Trump took his interpreter’s notes afterward and ordered him not to disclose what he heard to anyone. Later that night, at a dinner, Mr. Trump pulled up a seat next to President Vladimir V. Putin to talk without any American witnesses at all.Their third encounter was in Vietnam when Mr. Trump seemed to take Mr. Putin’s word that he had not interfered in American elections. A formal summit meeting followed in Helsinki, Finland, where the two leaders kicked out everyone but the interpreters. Most recently, they chatted in Buenos Aires after Mr. Trump said they would not meet because of Russian aggression.Mr. Trump has adamantly insisted there was “no collusion” with Russia during his 2016 presidential campaign. But each of the five times he has met with Mr. Putin since taking office, he has fueled suspicions about their relationship. The unusually secretive way he has handled these meetings has left many in his own administration guessing what happened and piqued the interest of investigators.“What’s disconcerting is the desire to hide information from your own team,” said Andrew S. Weiss, who was a Russia adviser to President Bill Clinton. “The fact that Trump didn’t want the State Department or members of the White House team to know what he was talking with Putin about suggests it was not about advancing our country’s national interest but something more problematic.”
