I used to smash peas into food for one of my kids and he never knew until I confessed after he was an adult.

my sister’s kids,, would NOT eat onions…. but when we told them the onions were Fake onions.. like McD’ junior burger has.. they eat them.

“I expect you to eat every bean and pea on your plate.”

At Target, all the pasta was gone, except for something called cauliflower pasta.

My aunt must have liked something she called root-a-beggar, or close, but I didn’t share her taste for it. Her place was the only place I knowingly ever had the displeasure.

Trader Joes hs a cauliflower gnocchi that’s actually pretty good. (At least the way my wife makes it!)

My wife has tried this trick on me, with broccoli. It still tasted awful, so the trick didn’t work.
