Counting 1 sheep per second, 222,222 seconds is 61.72833 hours, or nearly 2½ days in bed. Even at a brisk pace of 2 sheep per second, that’s 30.86 hours in bed. Or does he start where he stopped the previous night? :D :D :D
So many times when text is scanned for searching in old newspapers, the system confuses 2s for Zs.

…Oh, you’re using the system where one thousand is represented by “1.000” rather than “1,000,” right? I doubt Horace is counting millisheep.
