It was an honest mistake.

I’m not sure I can appreciate Lio’s tastes.

That sucks.

Poor snakey. That could make him lose his lunch. Srsly.

Lio, how many times have I told you not to leave your snakes lying around.

And I get upset when kitty toys get sucked.

You’d think Dad would know to stay alert around the house by now.

Dad better sleep with one eye open because the snake will get even.

Lucky Snakey didn’t get sucked in head first!

Little Sister, don’t you mean “it was an almost missed snake”?

Dogs know better, will run from a vacuum cleaner before they get sucked in.

Most snakes read vibration the way we see or hear, & would vacate faster than a dog if you turned on a vacuum. Though, pit vipers have IR & might mistake the heat from the motor as about rabbit sized. Not moving doesn’t hide you from a rattler, he can see your body heat. It just lets him know you’re not threatening. He’ll leave.

And don’t even ask them about the “toilet snake” incident.
