Red, when are you going to make up your mind and learn that stuff so that you can get your homework done quickly; then we can play around when you get home from school?

Rover wants you to join him outside, Red!

He’s got you there, Red.

HIs parents will have something to say about that, Rover. Something about heating bills and the like.

Nope Rover can’t leave the door open as then all kinds bugs that can fly can come in and the ones that crawl too and mom doesn’t like bugs…….

You have to talk to Mom about that one, Rover!

Can you say… “Dog Door”?

Rover must hear a squirrel running around outside…

For that one week or so between winter and warm weather where there are no bugs and likewise in fall after the first frost in Indian Summer.

A pet door would be a solution.

I feel Red’s pain, 3 in-out, in-out.

Rover’s ahead on points, kid! :-O

…fair. Never thought of it from that perspective.

That is so like my Gracie this morning. She wanted out three times! And it is BRRR cold!

Fenced in back yards are a good thing. So are dog doors although Rover is so big it would kill the heating bills.

We had this lab/beagle mix once named Cocoa. She would go to the door and go ‘woof woof woof!!!’ exactly the same way each time. She’d do the same thing when she was outside and wanted back in. We finally deciphered it as ‘Co Coa out!’ and then of course the reverse of “Co Coa in!”

Did they have dog doors back then?

In February? Not where I live.

Red, get a cat. Then you’ll appreciate Rover’s decisiveness.
