And, they are also ignoring the fact that we SHOULD be slowly entering an ice age, other wise, the warming would be worse.

With a quick swipe of his sharpie, the All-powerful Tweeter and National Weatherman can not only change the course of a hurricane with his imagination, but can make it snow in 60 degrees… Maybe we should lend him to Australia…

In our post-truth era, climate change (and immigration, vaccines, abortion, gun violence, etc) are easy prey for deniers …

Instead of the redcaps, it should be the industrialists and the Congress that enable them (or get big lobbyist payoffs).

The Deniers won’t do a thing until it affects them, and by then it will be too late.

Actually far fewer now deny the climate is changing (too much evidence to the contrary). The new arguments are it’ll cost too much to stop it or not to worry because new technology will come up with a fix.

While I certainly believe climate change is real, we also seem to forget many things in regards to brush/forest fires.

We do land management and fire mitigation horribly. Our former indigenous populations were masters of this, and the white man thought that they knew/know better and voila our forests are horribly overgrown creating fuel levels that get massively out of control and are well underway before we fight them. And every fire has to be fought in our minds. In California, for decades they put chaparral brush as landscape – it’s a pretty plant but highly susceptible to fire and it’s sap makes for gasoline-like fuel.

This cartoon shows fires in the North America, the Amazon, and Australia – most of these are predominantly intentionally set. It gets murkier as to why these are so large – however it’s a huge mix of multiple reasons and to only point out one is disingenuous.

Trump will never admit that climate change is real because he said it is a hoax and that makes it a hoax. He is the embodiment of the God complex. Evangelicals worship The Father, The Son, the Holy Ghost and The Trump.

Of course the guy is fine. It’s not our generation who will truly suffer from what we’re doing to our planet. It will be our children and our grandchildren who will suffer. They will be asking, “Why didn’t you do something ?”
