    Huh! I always knew the term “netbook” to mean “a book you download off of the internet”. In fact, I have a few dozen stored on my laptop right now!

    I must be a true cretin as I don’t see or understand the difference between a netbook, a laptop, or a tablet. they all look like portable computers to me.

    I thought a netbook was a stripped down laptop, no CDROM, usually a solid state drive, far less memory, in order to extend online battery life.
