I often wonder but I think it’s better than trying to beat her inside.

I guess if you stood off to the side. And wave your arm in front of the sensor so the door would open. That counts as opening the door for her.

Do women even want that anymore? I never know. I try to be a gentleman, especially when their hands are full, but does that make it look like I think they’re weak?

ALWAYS…be the gentleman! If it’s an automatic door, that just makes it easier!

I let my wife proceed first then say, “allow me to get the door for you!”

What if the door pushes in, am I supposed to awkwardly hold the door from the side or go through and continue holding the door for her?

OK. Here’s the question of the day. How many of you women out there like men opening doors, helping you on with your coat, etc. and how many are insulted by men being “gentlemen”.

Don’t bite off more than you can chew.

Yup – only older white dudes would even consider something like that which was formerly considered polite and chivalrous.

FYI – it is considerate whether it is a male or female. Try it sometime – the other person will give you a great smile and you’ll feel better!

How many drinks have these guys had?

Usually those of type questions are pondered after getting stoned, drinking leads to arguments over the opposite secks, sports, and politics.

I’ve counted it before.

Not really. But at least you can get partial credit for letting her go first.

Chivalry didn’t simply die, It was murdered, by a newer generation.

I’m convinced that the answer to World Peace was pondered and answered at a bar once, but the answer was lost in the fog of last call.
