I wonder what was in that glass? Perhaps “Champagne Cola”, a soda invented in Puerto Rico, Ellie is now rich because she drinks the champagne of sodas! XD

Come on Ellie, it would be in poor manner to tell everyone about your pregnancy without your parents there. As poor in manners as “starting your wedding night” in a moving car in front of everyone, by the way be prepared to get a lot of lectures on that later.
