not in high school, but I do seem to recall at times missing the school bus to early elementary school because of eating breakfast (probably either eating slow or dazed at reading the cereal boxes’ printed activities/advertisements and/or their nutritional facts)

Unfortunately for me, the school buses, elementary & jr. high/high stopped in front of my house.

Honestly, they really should make time for breakfast. It does make you feel better to start the day.

I thought for the last panel Andy was going to be serving something like frosted shredded eggplant.

I don’t eat breakfast. My doctor and I have an argument over the verb “to eat.” Is it the last time I had food in my mouth (usually 7 PM at the latest) or the last time I had food in my stomach (usually about 8 AM the following morning).

Some of this is due to my military training. Get up, exercise and then go to chow. I still do this. I eat breakfast about 9 AM – usually a piece of fruit, then lunch at about 11:30 – usually whatever is left over from two night’s ago dinner and another piece of fruit at about 2:30.

My school has a “Morning Toast Program” for these kinds of people.

If Peter did not do well on the suspected math test yesterday, he may not see the point to come to class on time.

I assumed here that Andy had cooked breakfast.

She should have yelled “Peter STOP eating, you’re LATE!”

Instead of fighting this with my 17 year old, who is always late out the door to school, I just make a sack breakfast for him to grab ’n go out the door.
