Economy had a “great” year with the deficit increased by 68percent, greater levels of wealth inequality, diminished financial opportunities for the largest proportion of the population, kidnapping children at the border, suppressing the vote, installing an “alleged” sex offender on the Supreme Court, and getting impeached.

But Hell at this point it won’t even be money that our children will have to pay off. Our Grandchildren will have to declare bankruptcy, ending America as an economic superpower.

Really.. the economy is great? Stocks are up for sure.. benefits the few that have stocks.. Unemployment at record lows.. because it takes two jobs to make a living. The economy is great.. for some… NOT most.

Bear in mind that looking at a Dow/S&P/Nikkei/… number is not how most people know whether the economy is doing well. Most people know it’s doing well when they feel like their paycheck is adequate and there’s a potential raise in the offing. And they feel that it’s not when their paycheck doesn’t buy as much as it used to, but there’s no real chance to find a better job. Which is the case today.
Of the last 5 presidents, only Bush #1 had worse economic number than Trump after the first 3 years in office. This is a continuation of the growth that started under Obama. Presidents get too much credit and blame on economic numbers. They have limited control, unless you start a trade war…
