Under-promise and over-deliver is a common business mantra.

My last new year resolution was to never again make a new year resolution. It’s the only one I’ve ever kept. Can’t even remember what year I made it in.

Over deliver? Since when do businesses over deliver? Not in my lifetime. Do like the government. Promise a chicken in every pot…then take the pot away.
