Humans are really really good procrastinators, and they get better at it, the more of them are grouped together. Fortunately, we are also pretty darn good at working in an emergency. Unfortunately, that seems to be the only time we work together. I’m hoping that applies this time, and I’m hoping it’s real soon!

It’s hard to deal with this reality when we have a “leader” who has denounced reality as his sworn enemy.

It will be our great grandchildren that will most likely suffer tremendously because of our extreme selfishness. Vote like there is no tomorrow.

Never say should or shouldn’t, it implies living in the past. As if nothing can be done. Start NOW, with yourSELF, or indeed nothing will be done, ever.

Greed is destroying the planet Earth. Don’t these evil leaders care for their own People and families and legacy?

Too many find democracy too hard, too many rules, too many responsibilities and decisions to make … too much thinking! Having a “strong” leader telling them what to do and how to do it seems perfect to them (well, as long that the ruler wants the same things they do).

Those in power prefer to ride a Theocratic climate ideology into oblivion.

The grand prize when money is the Holy Grail.

Since Ronald Reagan, the excuse has always been “we can’t do anything unless it’s a market-based solution. unless it’s a cap and trade system, it’s not worth doing.”

But for the last 20 years, when the response has been “okay, let’s implement a cap and trade system”, the GOP (and their global ilk) have shifted to “pffft. now libruls are telling you another tax from big govt will save the world.”

They don’t so much move the goal posts as chop them up for firewood.

Impeachment stumbled and fell in the ditch, -

to mess with the Senate’s proceeding to trial

of Trump, the Republicans’ gift to the rich.

Republicans don’t care, don’t vote for them.

That’s only half the problem. Flooding the Oceans with plastic is the other half.

Humanity are not Economen, they are risk averse and not rational too often.
