To me, this cartoon represents The Hope for the Future (Greta) vs. The Dope of the Present (climate change deniers). Good grief, conservative media deniers — for ojective scientifically researched information on this, read National Geographic instead of National Review.
The “opposite view” will either kill every living being on earth and/or provide an arduous and punishing life for our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren ad infinitum.
Even if the fossil fuel emissions were not causing climate change, switching to renewable energy will improve the atmosphere and reduce the power of oil-producing countries like Saudi Arabia.
For those that don’t believe fossil fuels harm the atmosphere, stand inside your closed garage and start your car.
You know, Mikey, it’s not just the Democratic party standing behind Greta (not controlling as some trolls suggest). It’s a vast majority of us humans, and just about all governments. Your “opposite view” pugilist should be 5 inches tall and marked with a big red R.
I guess we’re supposed to agree with guy with his shorts pulled up to his chest..?
Hilarious, though, that “opposite view” is represented by a middle aged white dude – the demo that’s least likely to be impacted by climate change. It’s nice to have the occasional tacit reminder from right wingers that they’re the F**k You, Got Mine party.
Love the cartoon: “After forty years of research, evidence, publications, discussions, analysis, and rational criticism supporting the fact of climate change, HOW DARE YOU continue to be ill-informed?”
Mr. Lester, denying the established, verified, demonstrable science of climate change isn’t the “opposite view”. You are just denying the established, verified, demonstrable science of climate change. You do realize that, right?
Lester appears to be utterly convinced that Thunberg is a puppet being manipulated by the socialist cabal who are using the “fake Climate change” trope to steal everyone’s rights and take over the world. In comments on this strip yesterday, he made it clear (as he has before). There’s no arguing with that kind of delusion, so I suggest we save our breath, and use it add our voices to the movement that Thunberg is part of. Oh, and to support candidates who are sane enough to see a real threat as it actually is.

those of us with the opposite view don’t ram our views down other people’s throats like the left does!

So, Lester promotes the notion that the ‘Climate Change’ issue is partisan and political … How sad!

Yes Mike we Know. The Opposite View that the World is Flat has just as much validity as the the proven, knowable truth.
The Right thinks of them as Alternative facts but we Left Wingers, in our Truth Based think call them LIES.
If you can all excuse Mike… He is late for his Windmill Cancer treatments. So Sad

Denying science and facts isn’t an “opposite view” it is a “delusional view”.

Climate denial is not a legitimate opinion.

Lester believes the link between smoking and cancer is just an elaborate Chinese hoax.
It was on Fox “news”, after all.

Lester is amazing. Drawing cartoons and fluffing trump at the same time.
